Well, I'm so excited to have this quilt on the couch for the fall and winter. The flannel backing makes it so warm and cozy... I love it already!

I did some very simple quilting on this one. I really didn't want to stitch through the dark triangles with white thread, so I avoided those altogether.

...and my little guy peeks around to say "hi!".
Horray for another finished quilt this week!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Gorgeous! Where do you live in MI? I used to live in the NE Lower Pen., near Gaylord. I'm also a twin, but my brother doesn't sew ;-). I am missing the Michigan fall colors now that we've moved to Oregon....
Very nice!!!! Beautiful quilt!

adorable! I wish the pink henna garden was still readily available. :)
Beautiful! love the charcoal triangles which really make the other different colours stand out plus your choice for the backing is perfect. Love that cherry print.

Beautiful quilt, it looks like it's already being treasured.
I love this quilt and want to make one. Do you have a pattern for the blocks? Your colors choices are great!
That's beautiful! I'm actually thinking of doing a quilt as a gift for my friend upcoming baby shower. I hope you could help me to make one.
I saw this on FLICKR and had to come see more photos on your blog. I LOVE THIS quilt!! I can't tell if your half square triangles are brown or black?? I'd love to make one like this for my very own. Do you care to share the sizes of your squares and triangles?? Ahhhhhhh, I want to just keep looking at this. Your MI fall background is beautiful too.
I'm originally from MI but haven't lived there for about 48 years! LOL!
Beautiful! I want one too :)
